British Motorcycles of the 30's
British Motorcycles of the 30’s was written by the great motorcycle historian Roy Bacon, and published by Osprey Publishing in 1986, with this issue coming out in 1995. |
It is an A-Z of pre-war marques, from AER through to Zenith, and is an invaluable guide to the period. Some of these bikes never saw the end of the decade, and many more failed to make it through the war, but here they all are in some detail, in the vast majority of cases backed by rare photographs, many of which have not been seen since before the war. |
